Timber merchants

All timber used in construction should be accredited through one of the recognised organisations like the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) that shows a ‘chain of custody’ for wood. This will ensure that the wood comes from well managed, sustainable forests.

The following organisations can supply FSC and / or locally sourced timber

The information is structured as follows:

  • Organisation
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • Email
  • Fax number
  • Personal contact
  • Website
  • Description of services / sustainable development credentials * written by the individual companies
